Finish carpentry is the cornerstone of our business. It is the expert detail needed to build or remodel intricate staircases, trim, molding and any other precision woodwork that needs to be done in your home. Don’t leave this kind of stuff to a “handyman,” call in the pros.
Custom Built-ins and furniture
Just like we offer custom cabinets, we also can build custom built-in features for your home. This could be custom bookshelves built into the walls of your study, a shelving nook where an old fireplace used to be, custom cabinets built around your bed in your master suite or any other creative idea you may have. We also can build custom furniture like the entertainment center pictured here. The best part is that most of these can be built away from your home and installed in one day.

Restoration
We care about restoring your home.
Another set of services we provide is restoration services. Unfortunately, restoration work often is the result of a disaster in the home. We have restored homes from fire damage, water damage, termite damage and we even provide emergency board-up and tarp-off services. We regularly work with experts in the restoration industry and can help you get your home back in order and your life back to normal.
Another restoration service we provide is historical home work. We can carefully strip, preserve and restore parts of your historic home.
Fire/ Water Damage
See the fire damage here? No? That’s what we do. This home had a kitchen fire that destroyed their kitchen. We were able to work the homeowners’ restoration service to help them not only restore their kitchen, but upgrade it in the process. Fire and water damage can be devastating, but we have experts with years of experience in restoring this type of damage and getting your home back!
Termite Damage
In the photo here, we are in the process of restoring the home. We have extensive experience with termite damage restoration and can often save homes that other contractors said needed to be demolished. We perform a detailed inspection of each board affected by termites to determine exactly what must be replaced. We then work with the homeowner to save their home from demolition, restore the damage and maybe upgrade their space.
Board-ups and Tarp-offs
Board-up and tarp-off work happens when your windows are broken, your shingles have been blown off or your wall was damaged by fire. In the hours after a disaster, your home needs protection from the elements. We can get in there during those key hours, whenever that may be, and close the holes in your home to prevent further damage.
Historic Homes
We perform surface restorations to historic homes in the greater Lansing area. We work with alternative solutions to strip historic wood, we can replace certain features and do it without disturbing the rest of the home.
